Information we collect

ComposeLab is designed to be privacy-first. We collect only the minimum needed to keep the app stable and useful:

Personally identifiable (optional)

Email address — only if you choose to share it via the Contact Us form.

Device & analytics

Device identifier (anonymized) — for grouping crash reports.
Device information — model, manufacturer, Android version.
Crash reports — stack traces and minimal context to fix bugs.
Usage analytics — feature taps, in aggregate, to understand what's useful.

How we use your data

Improving app stability and performance.
Understanding which features are used so we can invest in the right places.
Responding to feedback you send via Contact Us.
Showing relevant ads, when applicable, via Google AdMob.

Advertising

ComposeLab is free to use. To keep the lights on, the app may display advertisements served by trusted networks.

Ads may be personalized based on your device's advertising ID — you can reset or limit this from Android system settings.
You will never see ads inside an interview question or a lesson body.

Third-party services

ComposeLab integrates with the following providers; each has its own privacy practices:

Google Play Services — required for app distribution and updates.
Firebase Analytics — aggregate, anonymous feature usage.
Firebase Crashlytics — crash reports for triage.
Google AdMob — advertising delivery and measurement.

Data security

Data in transit is sent over HTTPS. We don't store personal data on our own servers — all third-party services follow Google's security standards.

Children's privacy

ComposeLab is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Policy updates

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Significant changes will be communicated in-app via release notes. The effective date at the top reflects the current revision.
